D’s Festive Fizz

2 cups                 Fresh lime juice

¾ -1 cup    Sugar, granulated (taste to your level of sweetnes)

2/3 cup                Cranberry juice

1-2 bottles Champagne or Prosecco (chilled)

                   Pomegranate seeds

 

Method

 

In a juice container, add lime juice and ¾ c sugar, stir to dissolve.  Taste and additional sugar till the lime juice is no longer sour.  Add the cranberry juice and stir.  Chill in refrigerator.  Can be made a day ahead.

 

To serve

 

In champagne flutes, fill glass 2/3 full with lime/cranberry juice then top off with champagne, add a nice sprinkling of pomegranate arils seeds and serve right away! 

 

Be prepared…make extra because this delicious bubbly beverage is a hit!
