I have lived and commuted between Mesquite and Las Vegas for a couple years. I frequently pass by but have never made a stop in Overton, Nevada. I'm sure you're wondering why anyone might possibly be intrigued to make a pit stop in the middle of nowhere! I've heard about this great tour/psychical challenge called Awesome Adventures. They claim to offer rafting tours, ziplines, hiking, horseback riding, climbing and much more. I believe they have cabins for rent so one or many could have a little weekend retreat.
